Board of Trustees

On behalf of the Fairfield School Board of Trustees, I would like to welcome you to Fairfield Primary School.

 

The role of the Board of Trustees is that of Governance of the School. The Board is responsible for ensuring all the legal and compliance requirements, as stipulated by the Ministry of Education, are adhered to. They set the vision and direction for the future, ensuring resources are available to achieve these goals. A process of monitoring enables the board to review results and realign goals as necessary to meet the needs of our students.

The Board is not involved with the day to day running of the school, because we all have full time jobs. The responsibility of the Principal in conjunction with the School Management Team is to ensure the school operates efficiently on a day to day basis.
